- Build a broader base for the national team
- Contribute to the popularity and mass appeal of kickboxing
2 · Core principles
- Points are not lost when an athlete changes weight class

- A coefficient is applied according to the level of each competition
- Achieving a result earns more points
- Accredited competitions organized by clubs are also included in the ranking
- The system is transparent, simple and easy to understand
3 · Age groups — 2026 mövsümü
| Age group | Birth years |
|---|---|
| U6 | 2021–2022 |
| U7 | 2020–2021 |

In each category, the athlete receives the points of the highest stage reached (points are not added up across stages).
A bye (advancing without an opponent) does not count as a win: stage points are awarded only for winning a real bout.
An athlete who fought no bout in the category (the only entrant, or advanced only by bye / opponent no-show) receives no ranking points: the result is listed with a "no opponent" note.
5 · Coefficient by competition level
| Competition level | Coefficient | Example (1st place) | Participation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Domestic competitions | |||
| Akkreditə edilmiş klub reytinq yarışı | ×1 | 10 pts | 1 pts |
| Regional AKF Kuboku | ×1.5 | 15 pts | 1.5 pts |
| Azərbaycan Kuboku | ×2 | 20 pts | 2 pts |
| Respublika Çempionatı | ×3 | 30 pts | 3 pts |
| International competitions (results entered by the federation) | |||
| Beynəlxalq açıq turnir | ×3 | 30 pts | 3 pts |
| WAKO Avropa Kuboku / Dünya Kuboku | ×4 | 40 pts | 4 pts |
| WAKO Avropa Çempionatı | ×5 | 50 pts | 5 pts |
| WAKO Dünya Çempionatı | ×6 | 60 pts | 6 pts |
Ranking points = base points × competition level coefficient. Only competitions included in the ranking by the federation are counted.
6 · How are weight class changes handled?
Even if an athlete changes weight class during the year, all previous points are kept and added to the overall ranking of the age group. Results by weight class are shown separately.
Example: a U9 athlete won first place in three weight classes
26 kq → 10 · 28 kq → 10 · 30 kq → 10 = 30 pts
7 · When points are equal
- More points
- Better single best result (usually from a higher-level competition)
- More 1st places
- More 2nd places
- More 3rd places
- Fewer losses
- Result of the head-to-head bout (when two athletes are tied)
- If still tied, they share the same place
8 · Club competitions — AKF ranking competition accreditation
- The club applies to the AKF
- The competition format and rules are approved
- The ranking fee is paid for each athlete
- The competition is held and the results are submitted to the AKF
- The results are included in the Dynamic AKF Ranking
Ranking fee
5 AZN / athlete
or 10–20% of the total entry fee (by agreement)
- Held in accordance with AKF rules
- Participation of licensed referees (recommended)
- Compliance with safety and medical requirements
- Submission of the results to the AKF
- The electronic results system is not mandatory: an alternative results form approved by the AKF may be used
9 · Season finale
At the end of the year, the top 3 athletes of each age group and the top 1 athletes of each weight class are invited to the federation's year-end event and receive awards.
